About

The name “covenantowners” refers to the Covenant Owners in the Village of St. Marie.  We get this name from a foundational document that was filed in 1988,  “Protective Covenants of the Village of St. Marie .”  Like a constitution, this document laid the groundwork for the village and set up various protections for the owners of property and units in St. Marie.  Everyone who owns or leases property or units in St. Marie, Montana, is a Covenant Owner.

The mission of the Covenant Owners is to secure and protect the property rights of all unit and property owners in St. Marie. In order to accomplish this, everyone needs to have secure title to their land, building and units.  It has been our desire from the beginning that the title picture in St. Marie be corrected so that everyone who buys property in St. Marie will have a secure title.

In conclusion, the Protective Covenants are here to establish and secure your property rights as an owner in St. Marie.
